Darius looks her over for a moment "Ever shot a bow?" He asks, before pulling a coin and flipping it a few times "Heads left, tails middle." He would flick it, and catch it, turning it on his hand "Left we travel folks."

"I'd rather not use weapons," Yeza says, hands at the ready.

Zeke shrugs, wondering if maybe Darius knows better, and follows him down the left path.

About 10 steps into the path, a nearby tree suddenly starts to fall, heading directly toward the group.

Darius would toss Zeke his sword, and shout at the others to move out of the way.

Zeke jumps out of the way with ease, but the frailty of Yeza's body is apparent as she clumsily tries to stumble out of the way.

At the last second, Darius would manage to tug her back into his arms. They may notice the violet color his eyes have changed to, or they may not. "Looks like this is the booby trapped path. Will we be alright to continue on it?"

Zeke frowns, but gives a nod. "It's an agility challenge. All paths will be tricky. May as well value the steps we've taken," he says before an arrow stops dead in its tracks right before it would pierce his head.

"We should move. I'll handle the arrows, but I'll need help with the other obstacles," Yeza says plainly, heading onward.

Darius seems impressed but nods "Alright, keep close." He says, moving forward alongside her.

After multiple obstacles and arrows, the group finds themselves stepping out of the forest and back into the originally snowy courtyard. Some scrapes and bruises were acquired, but nothing too serious.

"Well done initiates! Only two tests remain. Take a moment to gather yourselves before we move on to the strength challenge."

"Strange hm?" He takes a bit to sit and look at the others "I wonder what strange means."

"Violet eyes look good on you," Yeza says nonchalantly, not even looking at him.

"Strength challenge will be interesting. Not sure we'll be able to work together on this one," Zeke says solemnly

Darius would try his best to play off his reddened cheeks, clearing his throat. "That depends I guess, if the challenge is some kind of foe-a giant persay-we may be able to. I wouldn't expect the rules to change without warning. Plus, strength can mean a number of things. The best soldier knows that he is only as strong as his weakest ally."

"We're not testing to become soldiers," Yeza says with a shrug.

"If there's a battle challenge, it'll probably be the last one."

The brothers approach the initiates at this point, each carrying what looks like the bottom half of an oak tree. They set these down in front of the students and the ground trembles.

"You have thirty minutes to chop these stumps into fifty pieces each," Eisen says, tossing them each an axe. "Your time starts now."

Darius grins, cracking his knuckles "Well either way. We got this." He grabs his axe and gets splitting.

Darius would finish in about 7 minutes and find Yeza having employed the same strategy.

Zeke on the other hand looks to be struggling as he is attempting to cut the pieces evenly.

Darius would take up his axe and head over to Zeke, beginning to cut smaller pieces from the pieces Zeke had already cut. "Take a second Zeke, think." He offers between chops.
