A few moments later, he would see Zeke's body relax. He stays silent outside of his ragged breathing.

Yeza is on the ground at this point, screaming and convulsing violently.

Immediately the landscape around them shifts and they are standing right at the entrance to a large forest with three apparent paths.

"These paths are obstacle courses set up to test you. In additional to the natural hurdles you will have to pass, there will also be arrows occasionally aimed at you. Make it to the other side in time and alive."

For a moment, it almost seems like there is relief on Yeza's face. Curious, considering that she never shows emotion.

Darius would take a moment to study the paths and see if anything makes its self apparent in the way of most/least travelled, and best/worst terrain

The middle path looks significantly more traveled than the others. Close inspections would have Darius seeing a tangle of thorns not far into the right path.

"Well, middle seems like a trap. Most tests would be set up that way. The left path looks good, but that makes me skeptical. I've heard that the evil you know is better than the evil you don't."
